Red

A series of works on paper

Katka and her mother Eva arrived in Australia 40 years ago. These drawings are inspired by their journey together, childhood experiences and the colours of Prague during the 1960s. The theme of red is used in a personal and symbolic way, tying the work together.

In loving memory of Eva Gregorova.

Small cares make many words, great ones are mute Small cares make many words, great ones are mute
Black as hell, strong as death, sweet as love Black as hell, strong as death, sweet as love
A hard beginning makes a good ending A hard beginning makes a good ending
